Located in trendy Manhattan Beach, this aging neighborhood shopping center received a well-deserved revitalization and expansion. It has become a popular place to shop, dine, stroll, and relax near the local beaches.
With an expansion of 53,300 SF of open-air dining, retail space, and a 2.5-level parking deck, the center’s total square footage is 648,000 SF. In addition to the new dining and retail experience, the outdoor expansion includes a plaza featuring a cascading water fountain and rolling grass hills, making it a lively coastal destination for people to gather and socialize.
Offsite improvements include extensive site work connecting the existing mall to the new courtyard, demolition and construction of a new four-level parking structure, and a new suspension bridge linking the new parking structure to the current Macy’s.
