30,000 SF
The Rush Truck Center needed additional space for truck maintenance and offices and wanted to remodel its existing 30,000 SF building. W.E. O’Neil constructed three new buildings on the 15-acre site, all pre-engineered metal structures with office space at the front.
The sales floor was remodeled to create more office and storage space and required significant mechanical and electrical modifications to accommodate the new configuration and new finishes. These new buildings allowed for proper ventilation of the indoor truck service areas while supporting the heavy equipment.
Included in this project was a paint booth with the capacity to hold three full-size semi-trucks and large overhead gantry cranes.
Designers allowed interior finishes in the lobby area, locker rooms, reception, sales counters, and office space. The building exteriors include an attractive combination of metal panels, stone masonry, and moisture-managed EIFS.
