W.E. O’Neil collaborated with our valued, longstanding client Urban Frontier to transform 1515 Market Street into the client’s vibrant new office space. Over 100 years old and formerly a restaurant, the 8,900 SF historical two-story structure, accompanied by a basement, underwent a full renovation to seamlessly blend functionality with historical charm.
Studio K2 Architecture’s design included new exterior windows that cut into the existing masonry façade on the west elevation of the second level. New bathroom sets and kitchenettes on each floor enhance the functionality of the workspace.
In addition to conventional office features, the basement now includes a dynamic lounge space. The subterranean area has an inviting atmosphere with epoxy flooring, a stylish new bar, and a well-thought-out layout that accommodates recreational elements such as a pool table, televisions, and arcade games.
