In the bustling Fulton Market neighborhood, 832 W Fulton Market is a unique project that transformed a former livestock building that held significant importance in the city’s meat-packing history. This popular mixed-use complex beautifully preserves the historic façade of the building while utilizing its century-old foundations.
To preserve the historic value of the building, a new 100,000 SF structural steel building was constructed behind the existing façade. The work included three floors above grade and one below grade providing parking for 61 vehicles. Core and shell work as well as the reuse of existing foundations were major markers of the project.
A main tenant in the building is Punch Bowl Social, a 30,000 SF venue offering dining and fun recreational activities such as bowling, arcade games, table games, karaoke, and more.
