Cal Poly Pomona expanded its Residential Suites with the new Vista de Las Estrellas, Vista de las Montanas, and Vista de la Luna. The three new housing facilities are three-and four-stories in height, are clad primarily in stucco, and feature both pitched and flat roofs (clad in composite shingles and built-up roofing).
In addition to the new housing is a one-story commons facility that expands the Vista Café and convenience store and adds a multi-purpose meeting room. Classified as a Type V NR building, this one-story structure utilizes steel and wood framing.
Exterior improvements include complete landscaping with tree-lined walkways and student gathering spaces. This is a LEED Silver Certified project.
