This urban infill project within Beverly Hills’ Platinum Triangle District is one block east of Rodeo Drive. The vision for this new development was to attract high-profile retail, restaurant, and office tenants to blend into the existing urban fabric.
The project spans the block between Beverly and Canon Drives and features an outdoor pedestrian circulation spine allowing for a second-level, mid-block passage. This walkway provides seating for restaurants and outdoor merchandising opportunities for the second-level tenants.
The building structure consists of three stories of steel-framed construction and a four-level subterranean parking structure. The exterior of the building consists of many different materials, including stucco, brick, Portuguese limestone, and wood siding.
W.E. O’Neil worked with the City of Beverly Hills to formulate a work plan that defined specific work hours and delivery routes to reduce the impact of construction activities on the adjacent neighbors.
