Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel Renovation

W.E. O’Neil provided preconstruction and construction services for the renovation of the existing Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel in Southern California. The renovation honors the park’s founders, Walt and Cordelia Knott. The property’s theme offers the comforts of a farm while exhibiting a contemporary design.

The renovation included a complete refresh of the hotel’s public amenities and corridors featuring stylish country-chic interiors throughout the 12-story tower. The hotel lobby brings a rustic and welcoming vibe, paying homage to the Old West. Cordelia’s famous restaurant, where patrons enjoy her renowned chicken dinners, will be refreshed with modern farmhouse elegance.

Previously renovated in 1990, the exterior skin received a refresh, along with site improvements that included the existing swimming pool and conversion of the tennis courts into a landscaped destination wedding and events center. A redesigned porte cochere and perimeter upgrades to landscaping, site walls, and signage rounded out the renovation.
