Los Angeles Harbor College is well known for its award-winning Nursing and Allied Health Programs, so it is fitting that its newest building will be energy efficient, with a design ready for the awards podium.
Programming for the new design-build multipurpose building includes 49,600 GSF with spaces for Nursing and Health Sciences, Equity Programs, Disabled Student Services, and a Student Health Center.
Site improvements include a new 50,000 SF multipurpose plaza where students can relax or study, a new east parking lot with electric vehicle charging stations (EVCS), and infrastructure for future EVCS installation. This project is targeting LEED Silver Certification.
