Little Sprouts Discovery Center is a 12,000 SF private child care facility for the children of Farm Bureau employees. Special amenities for the day care included ballistic walls, ballistic doors and glass, a severe weather / intrusion safe room, natural playgrounds, and a splash pad.
Tennessee Farm Bureau Federation President Jeff Aiken and CEO Jeff Pannell joined several others involved in the project to commemorate the groundbreaking with golden shovels during the ceremony in 2018. “We expect this to be a first-class facility and I am sure it will be a greatly-appreciated benefit for Farm Bureau employees,” Pannell said.
W.E. O’Neil completed the new day care in 2019. It is operated by contract with The Children’s Academy, a national childcare firm that operates HospiTots for Maury Regional Hospital, and serves 85-100 children. This amenity has made their companies more attractive to prospective employees and assists current employees in obtaining high-quality childcare.
