Located in the Echo Park Community of Los Angeles and adjacent to a City of Los Angeles Recreation and Parks Community Center, this 0.4-acre park brings old fashioned fun to this dense family neighborhood.
The existing terrain of the site required a grade adjustment of 10′ plus before construction would commence. The grade changes were addressed by using retaining walls, planting, and boulders.
With a huge demand for outdoor open space, the new park provides this amenity to the area, bringing families and friends together. Patton Street Park and Community Garden is a part of the “50 Parks Initiative” by the City of Los Angeles.
