W.E. O’Neil has completed numerous projects over the last decade for RUSH University Medical Center, one of Illinois’ largest healthcare systems. Projects ranged in size from 600 SF to 10,000 SF, and architect partners have included Eckenhoff Saunders, Gensler, Moody Nolan, Erdman, and Troy Architects.
Projects included:
EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT X-RAY EXPANSION
- 600 SF X-ray room
- Demolition and build out of two existing X-ray rooms to allow for replacement of existing equipment with new X-ray machine and associated MEPs
GYNECOLOGIC ONCOLOGY CLINIC
- Renovation of existing 3,000 SF office suite to new oncology clinic
- Included six exam rooms, blood draw room, procedure room, reception, and staff workspace areas
OUTPATIENT EOS IMAGING SUITE
- Renovation of outpatient X-ray imaging suite and adjacent employee breakroom to allow for installation of new EOS imaging equipment
POB COMMON AREA RENOVATION
- Interior renovation of professional medical office building
- Ground floor and lobby renovation
RIVER NORTH CLINIC
- 10,000 SF demolition and interior buildout of medical office and primary care clinic space
- 21 exam rooms, six physicians’ offices, one X-ray room, one blood draw room, and ancillary support spaces
UROLOGY CLINIC RELOCATION
- 6,100 SF remodel in an existing medical building
- Selective demolition to utilize existing components
- New plumbing, HVAC, controls, electrical, and life safety systems
