Westlake Plaza and Center - Renovation Center Phase 1

Spread across 1.2 million square feet, this entire shopping center received an extensive architectural refresh. It is a unique project that chose to enhance, rather than rebuild, a fully established neighborhood center. The center required significant maintenance and improvements and was restored to a vibrant and welcoming center.

The design incorporates indigenous stone, heavy timber shade trellises, custom fixture work, lush landscaping, and native oaks, providing neighborhood residents with a comfortable, convenient, relaxed lifestyle destination.

Renovation work consisted of demolition and abatement of the older buildings for a revamped aesthetic. Four of the existing retail buildings were restored, including facades, storefront upgrades, and the removal and replacement of hardscape. New construction consists of a 4,600 SF leasing space and two new towers over an existing one-story with concrete, wood, structural steel, plaster, clay roof, and storefront.
